Join Us The Veterans in Ag Conference this November!
The Tennessee AgVets Opportunities on FarmLand (TN AgVOLs) Program is thrilled to announce its first annual Veterans in Agriculture Conference. This project is a collaboration between Appalachian RC&D, the University of Tennessee (UTCFM, TN AgrAbility, UT Extension), and several other regional partners to support veterans in farming.
Each ticket will include a light breakfast and lunch by Fat Bottom Brewery on both days of the conference. On Friday, Merry Oak Manor ice cream truck will join the conference and FREE ice cream will be available to all attendees. Thank you to Country Financial for sponsoring the ice cream!
REIMBURSEMENTS:
$50 gas stipends are available to all attendees who participate in both conference days. A limited number of partial hotel reimbursement stipends (up to $200) are available to participants who live 50 miles or more outside of Nashville. Partial hotel reimbursement stipends are limited to one per family and for those who attend the conference both days.
**We will send out an email after the conference to all who attend with a form to complete for the lodging stipend. A receipt is required to qualify for the reimbursement. The form must be filled out by December 15, 2026 *

Come learn practical ways assistive technology can make a difference in agriculture with Keynote Speaker Ned Stoller, an Assistive Technology Professional and Agricultural Engineer with National AgrAbility and ICanWork.
Ned Stoller's mission is to improve quality of life for farmers and workers with medical conditions by helping them find assistive technology, work tools, and methods that can not only reduce physical pain and improve workplace safety but also increase productivity and enable farmers to keep doing the work they love.
