Volunteer Farm Tour - June 13, 2026

Roles and Responsibilities:

Volunteers are essential to the success of the farm tour and we are grateful to have you. Be a Farm Greeter!

• Welcoming and directing visitors at farm sites
• Answering visitors questions about where else to go on the farm tour
• Some help with parking depending on the farm location
• While farms will be providing their own support staff, additional volunteers from the ARCD help make sure farm tour visitors are counted, directed, and have a welcoming experience.

Volunteer Perks:
1) Volunteers receive a VegHead Farm Tour T-Shirt, a goodie bag from Natural Foods Market, and get to have a hands on learning experience on a farm, and get farm animal snuggles...

2) Volunteers will also receive a Farm Tour car passes to gift to someone else.

What to Bring:

• Sturdy, weather & farm-appropriate footwear
• Rain umbrella, coat, boots, if it rains! We do it rain or shine.
• Sunscreen and insect repellent
• A refillable water bottle
• A cooler or freezer bags for purchasing perishable farm products
• Cash for on-site purchases, as not all vendors may accept cards
• Please Note: DOGS AREN'T permitted on farms because of livestock, or farm dogs, etc.
