Our Winter Field School is designed for new, beginning, and experienced farmers who want to strengthen their farm business skills and improve farm management, operations, marketing, and record keeping practices. This workshop series is designed so each session builds on the previous one; registration includes all 8 sessions.
Led by agricultural experts and local farmers, these workshops are tailored to the Eastern Tennessee agricultural environment.
Location: Workshops will be held in person at the Langston Centre in Johnson City, TN. You must be able to drive to in-person workshops.

The registration price includes:
- 8 in-person sessions held November – March (see below for specific workshop topics)
- 20+ agricultural experts from USDA Extension, NRCS, Farm Service Agency and more, plus experienced farmers providing an insider’s look into their operations
- A copy of the book Whole Farm Management and a printed resource binder with everything you need for the class
- Access to additional resources introduced in each class
