What to wear: Please arrive in outdoor workwear with sturdy shoes or boots. While gloves will be provided, volunteers are welcome to bring their own. Water waders or muck boots are helpful for streamside work.
Workshop content: initial site walk (through thick vegetation) and assessment, followed by hands-on instruction in key riverbank stabilization techniques. These include bare-root tree planting, mechanical invasive plant management, debris removal and more —all essential practices for protecting and restoring our streambanks.
