Northeast Tennessee Farm Tour 2023
We're going on a Farm Tour!
Grab your sunscreen, get some bug spray, pack up your car with family and friends, and spend the day visiting Northeast Tennessee farms, and learning about how local food is grown and produced.
Are you ready to get the family outside and get the kids engaged in learning about how their food is grown? Appalachian Resource Conservation and Development Council is thrilled to announce the 5th Annual Northeast Tennessee Farm Tour!
Northeast Tennessee Farm Tour is a self-guided self-paced tour of farms in our region. Farms sign up to participate, ARCD coordinates the tour date and times, collects lists of what guests can expect to see and do at each farm, then communicates that to guests so they can decide which farms they want to visit.
This year we have expanded the geographic region of the farm tour, meaning you'll see some new farms on the list and some returning champions. Two weeks prior to the event, you will receive via email your printable farm tour map and farm tour guide with GPS addresses for all participating farms and their available activities as well as the farm tour safety rules. This information will only be emailed to you, so make sure you input an active, accurate email address to ensure you get your map!
New this year, The Kitchen at Grace Meadows will be open during the Farm Tour, and farm tour guests will receive a discount on their meal! Grace Meadows Farm will also be offering tours of the rest of their operations.
One $30 car pass covers all the occupants of your vehicle -- so each family or group of people only needs to purchase one ticket per car. Please indicate the number of people you plan to bring in the appropriate space on the registration form for attendance tracking purposes.
